Car fire clogs commute near Bangerter, SR-201

Normal traffic flow had been restored by 7:15 a.m. to a stretch of Bangerter Highway and nearby State Road 201 that were left clogged during the morning commute due to a vehicle fire Wednesday morning.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said the cause of the fire had not been determined, but the flames had been all but extinguished by the time firefighters arrived on the scene — the northbound off ramp from Bangerter to westbound SR-201 — at 5:47 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
