State colleges: Weber State women's soccer team beats New Mexico State

Sparked by midfielder Ryley Hansen's seventh-minute goal, the Weber State women's soccer team defeated New Mexico State 4-1 on Sunday in Las Cruces, N.M.

The Aggies scored an equalizer in the 41st minute, but Abbey Kennedy scored a minute later to put the Wildcats ahead 2-1 at halftime. Mackenzie Day and Mackenzie Harrison scored second-half goals for Weber State.

Portland St. 0, Utah St. 0 • In Hillsboro, Ore., USU goalkeeper Ashlyn Mulford made nine saves as the Aggies battled to a scoreless tie with the Vikings. The Aggies (5-1-2) played into overtime for the fourth time this season.

Westminster 2, Marymount 1 • In Long Beach, Calif., the Griffins (5-1) fell behind in the 11th minute before rallying for the win. The Griffins' Rylei North scored the equalizer in the 28th minute, and Alyssa Hill scored the game-winner in the 61st minute off an assist by Margo Hickman.
