Lucille Workman, of Holladay, has volunteered for the Utah State Capitol Visitor Services Docent Program for three years.
The 90-year-old woman volunteers every Tuesday morning, conducting four school tours.
"She educates visitors about the beautifully restored Capitol and does it all with a warm smile and energetic skip in her step," said Joanna Hudson, director of Visitor Services at the Capitol Preservation Board.
Workman has a special connection with the Capitol: Her daughter is Sen. Pat Jones, D-Holladay.
