Recalls for Energizer night lights, Suzuki models

The following products and vehicles were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Unless otherwise indicated, discontinue use of the products immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund. For more information about the products, call the manufacturer or CPSC's toll-free hotline, 800-638-2772. Only some cars or trucks recalled are affected. Contact a dealer for your model to see if it is included in the recall. The dealer will tell you what to do.

Product • Energizer Rotating Night Lights

Problem • The lights can overheat and smoke, posing a burn hazard to consumers. Immediately stop using the product and unplug it. Contact Energizer for instructions on returning the night lights for a $7 coupon toward the purchase of an Energizer product. Vehicles • Suzuki Forenza 2004-2006, Suzuki Reno 2005-2006

Problem • Increased resistance because of poor contact between the terminals of certain wires can generate heat that can melt the splice pack used to connect the power circuit wires for the headlamps. This can result in intermittent or total loss of low/high beam headlamp function. Suzuki will notify owners, and dealers will reconnect the affected wires with two heat-shrink crimps, free of charge.
