The Utah Transit Authority has reopened a section of its TRAX system that was closed Monday afternoon while police investigate a suspicious package left near the transit line.

No service was available shortly after 3 p.m. between 900 South and 2100 South after a suspicious package was spotted at the Ballpark Station, 1300 S. 180 West. A bus bridge was set up starting at 2100 South. But UTA officials announced on Twitter about 3:30 p.m. that service had resumed, although delays were expected.
