Re "Too much spirit, Ute fans storm the castle" (Tribune, Sept. 19):

Paul Rolly reported how some rowdy Ute fans harassed some Cougar fans in the neighboring Zions Bank suite at Rice-Eccles Stadium during the recent football match between the University of Utah and Brigham Young University.

The Zions suite was occupied by (among others) Utah Senate President Michael Waddoups and House Majority Whip Greg Hughes, two of the champions of liquor control in the Utah Righteouslature.

When the university police were called, it was alleged that the intruding Ute fans were drunk, although no booze was found in their suite.

Since when do you have to be drunk to dislike BYU or the Mormon-controlled body of lawmakers in this state?
