Over the last 10 days, actor and comedian Josh Sankey has been bartering his way across the country using nothing but bacon to obtain gas, lodging, food and whatever else he needs. On Thursday night and Friday morning, Sept. 20 and 21, this "Great American Bacon Barter" will be in Salt Lake City.

Bacon-lovers who want to barter with Sankey while he's in Utah can find out what he needs and make an offer through Twitter @BaconBarter. There's also more information on the website BaconBarter.com.

Sankey, who started his two-week journey in New York City on Sept. 9, is traveling with 3,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer's Butcher Thick Cut bacon. He has no cash or credit cards. Of course, this is a promotional event for Oscar Mayer, so he is accompanied by a cameraman who is capturing the tour on film.

While Sankey has been in some relatively obscure films and TV series, he has toured the United States as a stand-up comic.

So offering him your couch for the night should result in a few laughs and, of course, bacon.
