Touring dance troupes, plus Utah's innovative home-grown companies, offer a variety of classic and contemporary performances throughout the season.

Nov. 2-3, 7-10 • World premiere of Val Caniparoli's "The Lottery," plus a revival of resident choreographer Nicolo Fonte's "Bolero" and Helen Pickett's "But Never Doubt I Love."

Repertory Dance Theatre

Oct. 4-6 • "Embark," featuring the Utah premiere of Merce Cunningham's 1965 "How to Pass, Kick, Fall and Run," with a sound-score by John Cage delivered by Bill Allred of X96's Radio from Hell and RDT's Ricklen Nobis; "Hello World," a multimedia collaboration between choreographer Jacque Bell and social psychologist Barton Poulson; a spotlight on the work of Michio Ito, and "Eight Seconds of Fame," with movement phrases suggested by community members.

Nov. 16-17 • "Time Capsule: A Century of Dance," a tour through 100 years of dance, spotlighting innovative 20th-century choreographers.
