Of all people, Gov. Mitt Romney must understand the importance of a well-prepared business plan. Why hasn't he presented one for solving the nation's economic problems? The 1975 Harvard Business School graduate hasn't even given us a decent executive summary.

Romney must have an entire deck of blank Powerpoint slides ready to go — just add text and financial projections (real or imagined). Certainly, he has performed this exercise numerous times in the conference rooms at Bain Capital.

Apparently Romney expects Americans to sign off on his economic recovery deal without even a pro forma explanation. Maybe he feels it's beneath his dignity with 47 percent of his audience losers.

But wait, if he does present his plan and gets elected, everyone will know when he flip-flops. Very shrewd, but will the 53 percent buy it?
