Independent for Romney

Count me as an independent who's decided to vote for Gov. Mitt Romney. My reasons? Change and hope.

America is stuck, and a change in leaders will do us good. Any politician who was part of gridlock of the past two years (yes, I'm thinking of you, Rep. Jason Chaffetz), should be replaced with a new face who doesn't harbor resentments and who can start over fresh.

I hope Romney will deliver on his promise of more jobs. More than anything else, that's what we need to get out of our slump. President Barack Obama had his chance, and job growth has been too sluggish.

Romney can't do worse, and I fear Obama can't do better.
