Officials remind Utahns of Nov. 6 election, online services

The Utah Lieutenant Governor's Office used Tuesday, National Voter Registration Day, to remind Utahns the Nov. 6 election is just six weeks away.

Utahns can go online to vote.utah.gov to register to vote, request an absentee ballot, find their polling place and more.

Important upcoming dates related to the 2012 election are:

Oct. 9 • Deadline to register to vote by mail

Oct. 22 • Deadline to register to vote in-person or online

Oct. 23 • Early voting begins

Nov. 2 • Early voting ends; last day to request a by-mail ballot

Nov. 6 • Election Day, polls are open 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
