This weekend on Utah TV: BYU, SUU and RSL are all on TV — and they could all use a win

Three local teams are on TV this weekend - and all of them could use a win.

College football continues, with BYU (2-2) hosting Hawaii (1-2) on Friday (6 p.m., ESPN) and Southern Utah (2-2) hosting Montana (4-0) on Saturday (1:30 p.m. Root).

And on Saturday night, MLS play resumes with Real Salt Lake traveling to California to take on Chivas USA (8 p.m., Ch. 30).

Friday on TV ...

Golf (6 a.m., ESPN): Day 1 coverage of the Ryder Cup continues until 5:30 p.m.

CSI: NY (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): A recently paroled arsonist (Rob Morrow) is the suspect in a fatal fire. (Season premiere)

High school football (7 p.m., Ch. 2.2): Highland at Woods Cross

Made in Jersey (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Premiere of a promising new legal drama.

Grimm (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): A Wesen church is robbed.

Fringe (8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): The team tries to save the world. (Season premiere)

Blue Bloods (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): A criminal who Danny put away kidnaps Jackie. (Season premiere)

Women's college volleyball (9 p.m., Pac-12 Network-Mountain): Utah at Oregon

Boss (10 p.m., Starz): Kane regains control of the city following an alternative medical treatment.

Saturday on TV ...

Golf (7 a.m., ESPN): Day 2 coverage of the Ryder Cup continues until 5 p.m.

Doctor Who (7 and 10 p.m., BBC America): Statues come to life in New York City. Which can't be good.
