On the move • The county's headquarters library at 38 S. 100 East will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, and reopen at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 after moving to a new building at 133 S. Main.

Davis County

Stores recognized • The Health Department and local law enforcement agencies recently recognized 92 stores that have complied with the law against selling tobacco products to minors. Stores that have been in compliance for 20 years include Sinclair Main Street Service of Layton and Saigon Market of Sunset. Visit http://bit.ly/OupL9d for a list of all outlets that were recognized. In the latest check, underage buyers supervised by the agencies made 425 attempts in a year to buy tobacco, with 17 — or 4 percent — ending in a purchase.
