Eating and texting

My wife and I are starting to feel a little out of place.

Whenever we go out to a restaurant to have a meal, it seems that at least half of the customers are talking or texting on their cellphones. They continue until their meal arrives; some keep on their cellphones between chews and gulps.

Experts say cursive writing is going to be a thing of the past. That could well be the fate of normal table conversation with your partners.
