Salt Lake City police were asking for the public's help in bringing two armed robbers to justice.

About 11 p.m. Wednesday, two suspects — one brandishing a black handgun — entered a store at 418 E. 300 South and demanded money from a clerk in the process of closing up for the day.

The clerk handed over an unspecified amount of cash and the suspects fled on foot.

One suspect was described as a 35-year-old Latino male, about 5-foot-5, 190 pounds, with dark hair and a pock-marked face. He was wearing a black coat, dark pants and a ski mask.

The second suspect was a white male adult, age unknown, about 6-foot-1 and wearing a hat.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 801-799-3000.
