Utah international summit to feature 7 foreign trade reps

The Governor's Office of Economic Development will present a summit later this month that brings together seven foreign trade representatives to consult with Utah companies on how best to do business in their respective countries.

The trade representatives will be from Bahrain, Europe, Mexico, Chile, Japan, China and South Korea.

Topics that will be covered include:

• Selling in Europe

• The Entrepreneur's Handbook: Working toward more intelligent business decisions

• Sales strategies in Latin America

• Opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa, and

• Engaging in global business

GOED's 2012 International summit will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek at 75 S. West Temple. The cost to register is $20. Go to http://isum.eventbrite.com/?ref=ecount to register. A reception will be held following the summit.
