Officials at Cedar Breaks National Monument in southern Utah have closed park facilities until next spring. State Road 148, the main road through the park, will remain open until the first major snow fall.

When the road closes due to snow the park will be open to visitors on cross-country skis, snowshoes and snowmobiles on designated trails.
