Legacy billboard

Since the Legacy Highway opened in 2008, I have enjoyed traveling it whenever I head north from Salt Lake City. The slower speeds, lack of 18-wheelers and other oversize vehicles and the pedestrian and bicycle riders on the accompanying trails make it a pleasure to traverse.

Another very pleasant situation is the lack of billboards to hide and otherwise mar the wide-open views of landscape.

Yesterday, I was dismayed to find just past milepost 8 a new billboard advertising Parrish Creek Estates. It marred an otherwise pleasant driving experience.

When Legacy Highway was approved, no billboards were allowed. Why is Parrish Creek Estates permitted to violate this restriction?

If this violation is permitted to remain, soon the beautiful landscape will be sullied by multiple billboards.
