You want jobs? I'll show you jobs. Here's one idea:
Billions of gallons of fresh water run off the mountains of Alaska unused by anyone. Divert a fraction of that runoff to a reservoir between the ranges in the Rocky Mountains. Make the project our generation's Hoover Dam or Tennessee Valley Authority.
A joint Canadian-United States-Mexico project would alleviate unemployment for all three nations, spur unimaginable growth and fill every depleting aquifer in North America, opening arid land for farm production in all three countries.
Now, that's jobs and economic stimulus.
