Jazz waive free agents Butch, Gilder

The Utah Jazz have waived center Brian Butch and forward Trey Gilder, general manager Dennis Lindsey announced Thursday afternoon. The Jazz have 17 players remaining on their preseason roster heading into Saturday night's exhibition against the Los Angeles Clippers at EnergySolutions Arena. Butch, a Wisconsin product, appeared in only two games for Utah. He collected seven rebounds in 15 scoreless minutes of action. Gilder also appeared in two games, scoring two points and registering seven rebounds in 10 minutes.
