The coming work week marks a return of rain to the Salt Lake Valley — and potentially snow to the mountains.

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City forecasts rain to arrive in the Salt Lake Valley Sunday night, with a chance of rain every day through at least Friday. There's even a chance of snow on Wednesday above 5,000 feet. Southern portions of the state may also see some rain on Sunday and Wednesday.

The air quality statewide is rated "green," or healthy, and should remain so through Monday, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.

The NWS expects a high of 66 on Sunday in Salt Lake City, then it picks up to 67 degrees on Monday; Ogden expects 64 and 66 degrees, respectively; Provo 68 and 67 degrees; Logan 60 and 65 degrees; Wendover 59 and 62; Duchesne 64 and 63; Cedar City 63 both days; St. George 78 and 77; and Moab 73 and 71 degrees.
