USU football: Aggies pound New Mexico State for 41-7 win

Logan • Utah State is now bowl eligible for the second consecutive season.

With a 41-7 win over New Mexico State, USU moves to 6-2 on the season. The Aggies accomplished this by dominating play on both sides of the football.

Utah State scored the first 28 points and were never challenged. Sophomore quarterback Chuckie Keeton finished with four touchdowns — two in the air and two on the ground. Kerwynn Williams had a pair of scores as well.

USU scored on its first offensive play of the game. It never got better for New Mexico State after that. With this victory, the Aggies move to 2-0 in the Western Athletic Conference.
