Behind in Massachusetts

Which state should know Gov. Mitt Romney best? Massachusetts. After all, Romney was the governor for four years.

Yet Romney is far behind in the polls there — 15 percentage points lower than President Barack Obama.

That spread makes me leery of Romney. If he had performed well as governor of Massachusetts, he should be ahead.

It seems the folks who know Romney best do not want him as president.
