C'mon, did you really think the Detroit Tigers would win the American League? I know they were preseason favorites, but it's been 28 years since they won an ALCS.
Did you really think that the San Francisco Giants - down three games to one to the St. Louis Cardinals - would come back and win the National League?
I sure didn't.
But here we are with the Giants hosting the Tigers in Game 1 of the World Series (6 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13).
The Tigers are the favorites, according to the oddsmakers. We'll see what happens.
Also tonight, we get the debut of The Houstons: On Our Own (7 p.m., Lifetime). And it's sort of sad and pathetic to see Whitney Houston's family attempt to profit from her death.
