Covey Center for the Arts in Provo just announced its newest art exhibit, "Visionism," by Hagen Haltern and Jared Harlow.

According to an excerpt from a press release, "The exhibited works consist of digital images printed with archival inks and paper in limited editions. These images are created from a variety of source material (ink washes, paintings, drawings, photographs, etc.), and composed in Photoshop. Visionsim means to follow the ideal of greatest variety in strongest unity. In the visual arts all elements and principles, everything that creates meaning, like truth, virtue, and beauty, has to be turned into an equivalent of light. When light goes, so goes the entire visual dimension." This exhibit will be on display from November 2 – December 31. The opening reception for this exhibit is held in conjunction with the Downtown Provo Art Stroll and will be on November 2 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Aspen Winds, a chamber music group. The Covey Center for the Arts, located at 425 West Center in downtown Provo.
