Even if the University of Utah is struggling in football and basketball, the Utes are doing well in the classroom.

According to deferal and NCAA figures recently released, the Utah student athletes are graduating at a higher rate than the rest of the country, and 81 percent of them will graduate within six years from the time they enrolled as freshmen.

Five Utah sports recorded perfect graduating averages. The football and baseball teams, respectively, placed third in the Pac-12 Conference.

Nine sports, including each men's sport, improved their GSR's from last year.
