Thank you for Judy Fahys' "Climate change report calls Utah policies 'risky'" (Tribune, Oct. 25), which mentions that Utah's average temperatures are increasing at twice the national rate.
Climate change doesn't just raise temperatures and threaten water supplies. It also threatens food supplies, increases food prices, increases insurance premium rates, causes wildfires, affects our health and creates national security risks.
It is time for Utah's voters to vote with the climate as their main issue. Voters should cast their ballots for governor, senator, representatives and president based on who understands climate change best and will do a good job fighting it.
