Rape no blessing

Babies are a blessing from God, and we have learned recently from Indiana's Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, Richard Mourdock, that rape-induced pregnancy is "something that God intended to happen."
If this were true, by logical extension, rape is a blessing from God. This is clearly not true and an insult to us all.
