The spectacular Crescent Super Band wants to raise $300,000 so Utah's premier high school jazz band (also voted the country's best) can perform in May 2013 at the famed Carnegie Hall.

They want Utah businesses to buy enough Christmas CDs – just recorded by the band – to defray travel expenses. They woukd like to secure orders from Utah businesses for 15,000 Christmas CDs by November 15. They are having a press conference today at 1:30 p.m. at Abravanel Hall to debut the new CD and raise awareness.

We'll have more info shortly about where people can get the CDs and support this local band.
