The 2nd annual Kebab Carnival at Saffron Valley Indian Street Food kicks off today and continues through Sunday, Nov. 4.
During the seven-day promotion, the South Jordan restaurant is offering 22 different kinds of northern Indian kebobs marinated in exotic spices and ingredients and cooked in a Tandoor oven. Guests can choose from eight chicken offerings ($12.99), five lamb ($14.99), two seafood ($14.99) and six vegetarian ($11.99). Prices includes rice of the day, green salad and chutneys.
For the undecided, there also is a chef's sampler for $16.99 that includes an assortment of kebabs such as chicken marinated in cream cheese and crushed pepper; deep-fried shrimp and lamb chops in a ginger marinade.
