Here's what's being talked about over the weekend in pop culture:

• Here's one for lovers of irony: The massive storm Sandy caused a shutdown on the set of Darren Aronofsky's next movie, "Noah," being filmed in Oyster Bay, N.Y. It was just one of many productions, concerts and other events cancelled due to the storm. Meanwhile, David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon soldiered on, without an audience. • NBC has said "no" to a spin-off of "The Office," which would have taken Rainn Wilson's character Dwight Schrute managing his family's beet farm. [Entertainment Weekly]
