Recalls for fleece hoodie and T-shirt sets, Ricon 3 transit bus

The following products and vehicles were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Unless otherwise indicated, discontinue use of the products immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund. Contact a dealer for your model to see if it is included in the recall. The dealer will tell you what to do.

Product • Fleece hoodie and T-shirt sets, sold at Target stores

Problem • The surface coating on the zipper of the fleece hoodie and T-shirt sets contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard. Consumers should take the product away from children immediately and return the set to any Target store for a full refund. Product • Ricon 3-Minute Urban Transit Bus window sets

Problem • The composition of the material used to cast the handles is incorrect, resulting in embrittlement of the handle and a reduction in material strength. The handle(s) on the emergency egress passenger windows may break before the window latch is released. In the event of an accident, passengers may be trapped in the vehicle, placing them at risk of injury. Ricon is notifying the affected vehicle manufacturers and will provide replacement handles. The vehicle manufacturers will remedy the affected transit buses free of charge. Owners may contact their vehicle manufacturer or Ricon at 818-267-3001 for more information.
