Romney's latest lie

Gov. Mitt Romney's campaign is getting nasty. To sway blue-collar votes in the pivotal swing state of Ohio, Romney recently told a rally in the Buckeye State that Jeep was moving all of its production to China, and now his TV ad implies that U.S. Jeep jobs are moving to China.

No Jeep jobs are moving to China; in fact, Chrysler-owned Jeep is adding 1,100 jobs to its Ohio plant. (Jeep is resuming production in China for Chinese consumption to avoid huge import tariffs.)

This is just the latest Romney lie. He's telling it days before the election, hoping any correction will come too late. I've dismissed a lot of what Romney has done as simply politics, but the number of his lies, and his continuing to tell them after they've been corrected, has now passed my level of tolerance.

Mitt Romney is simply not honest in his dealing with his fellow men.
