I am disheartened by the letters about readers' lack of interest in voting.
You don't want to vote for either presidential candidate. I get that. However, there are plenty of other races that demand your attention.
Voting is our constitutional duty. It ensures that our society remains as democratic as possible.
Armies have fought and soldiers have died defending that right. People around the world envy our freedom to choose our leaders.
As a citizen of the United States of America, it is your duty to exercise your right to vote.
