Don't confuse this with the XXX-Dance Film Festival, which is held in my buddy's basement. For a schedule of the festival's action film screenings, visit x-dance.org.

Chilling on a dirt road
Country-rapper Colt Ford, who co-wrote Jason Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem," headlines with J.J. Lawhorn opening. Lawhorn lives in rural Virginia and cites hunting, fishing and working on his truck as just a few of his hobbies. On second thought, the adjective "rural" in the previous sentence seems redundant.
When • Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
Where •The Westerner, 3360 S. Redwood Road, West Valley City
