A South Jordan-based company that has developed a household budgeting and bill paying system, said it has adapted that mobile service app to run on Android devices.

Finicity Corp.'s product, Mvelopes, is billed by the company as the only household budgeting app that allows users to transfer money from one bank to another quickly and easily and is designed to make it fast and convenient for users to instantly pay bills and manage their budgets while on the go.

The company previously had released an app for iPhones.

"We're noticing an increased need for budgeting tools that fit the quick paced, on-the-go lifestyle," said Steve Smith, president of Finicity. "Now Android users can pay bills from anywhere while they have their budget in their hands, saving them valuable time and making it more convenient to take care of things without the use of a computer."

Mvelopes was recently named as the "Best Online Money-Management Tool for Over-Spenders" by Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine.

The Mvelopes Android app is now available on Google Play and in the Amazon App Store.
