Robert Redford's political season is hitting high gear with five days left until the election.
Redford has written pleas sent by email to voters in Florida and Arizona for Democratic U.S. Senate candidates.
In Florida, according to the Tampa Bay Times, he's going to bat for incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson. In Arizona, writes Tucson Weekly, Redford has endorsed Dr. Richard Carmona.
On Tuesday, this blog reported that the Sundance Institute founder cut some radio ads against the dangers of "fracking" for natural gas in upstate New York. And last week, Redford received the lifetime achievement award from the League of Conservation Voters.
