'UniTy: You are the Future'

SB Dance will present an evening of comedy for a cause and serious talk about solutions to raise awareness about at-risk LGBTQ Utah youth. The event features the creators and cast of the award-winning online sitcom "Husbands" and representatives of the Human Rights Campaign and Trevor Project.

Holiday food drive

Catholic Community Services will collect and donate holiday food items, including turkeys, hams (of all sizes), canned yams and pumpkin, cranberry sauce, stuffing, potatoes, gravy and canned vegetables. Food may be donated at the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank or to United Way of Northern Utah.

When • Monday through Friday, Nov. 12-16, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

Poinsettia fundraiser

People With AIDS Coalition of Utah will offer a poinsettia sale for the holidays. The poinsettias (plant and pot) average 15-19 inches tall and 15 inches wide, and are set in a 6-inch pot with a satin pot cover. Poinsettias need to be pre-ordered by Nov. 15.
