Unexpectedly, those were the two players who came up a bunch on Thursday during Pac-12 media day.
The source? Opponents.
Apparently, Glen Dean and Aaron Dotson are both big names in the Seattle area for past exploits. So even though the two have yet to play a game in the Pac-12, their peers know all about them.
"Both of those guys are big time players," Stanford point guard Aaron Bright said. "I played on the same AAU team as Aaron, and he can do it all. He can shoot, he can put it on the floor and go to the basket. Those guys can both play."
Dean will start at the point for the Utes. Dotson is out until December with a stress fracture, but when he comes back he could start and should see significant time in the rotation.
Both are poised to be big additions for a Utah team that had major issues scoring the ball last season.
