Utah's weekend autumn forecast is one John Keats would relish, a season for the soul where "his wings he furleth close; contented . . . to let fair things pass by unheeded as a threshold brook."
The National Weather Service predicts a cool, crisp and sunny weekend with high temperatures Saturday around 60 degrees, mirroring its forecast for Friday. Overnight lows will be a shade above freezing.
Southern Utahns, too, may want to don a jacket early Saturday morning after overnight temperatures in the low-40s. Daytime highs will be in the low- to mid-70s, again under mostly clear skies.
Air quality statewide rates a "Green," or healthy grade, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.
Salt Lake City's high Saturday is pegged at 61 degrees, the same as predicted for Friday; Ogden looked for 61 and 58 degrees, respectively; Provo 63 and 62; Logan 59s; Wendover 58 and 57; Duchesne 58s; Cedar City 63 and 65; St. George 76 and 77; and Moab 68s.
