Bigfoot. Raksha. Yeti. In a time when facts are skewed, truth hidden and reality altered, how are we supposed to figure out what is real and what is a hoax?

At the end of this campaign season, we saw truth revealed as hoax and reality caught in a web of lies. When did elections evolve into this?

Trying to find the truth in politics is as difficult and controversial as determining the existence of Bigfoot. Think about it. Bigfoot enthusiasts are confident in evidence "proving" the actuality of Bigfoot.

In 1967, Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin emerged from Six Rivers National Forest with one of the most controversial recordings in history. Believers saw Bigfoot. Skeptics saw a man in a suit. Many later claimed to be hired by Patterson and Gimlin. They couldn't be Bigfoot.

In a world of political rhetoric, deceit and tricksters, what are we to do to find the truth? Whether you're searching for truth about a good ol' Squatch or a politician, stop believing everything you hear. Get educated.
