It's three weeks until Thanksgiving, but the consumer Christmas onslaught has begun.
The Cricket notes the following as evidence:
• KOSY 106.5 FM has switched from its usual "lite" programming to wall-to-wall Christmas music, which will last through December. (Rival station KSFI, alias FM 100, hasn't flipped the switch yet, but it will.)
• Supermarkets have boxed up the Halloween inventory and filled the seasonal shelves with Christmas stuff.
• The made-in-Utah holiday movie "Christmas Oranges" starts a one-week run today at the Megaplex Theatres, ahead of its DVD release on Tuesday.
