Logan • The good times continue for Utah State football.

The Aggies won their eighth game in a season for the first time since 1974 with a 38-7 win over Texas State on Saturday at Romney Stadium.

It was a sound beating that USU administered. The Aggies scored 35 consecutive points in the first half, dominated on both ends and spent the fourth quarter giving their second- and third-string players extended work.

Utah State is 8-2 and winners of four consecutive games. The Aggies never have won 10 games in a season. With two games remaining, plus a bowl game, that seems to be a possibility now.

Chuckie Keeton went 19 of 25 for 310 yards. He threw four touchdown passes and a pair of interceptions.
