Utah Chamber Artists is celebrating Christmas this year with "The Three Bs" – Alfred Burt, Abbie Betinis, and Barlow Bradford. The Alfred Burt Carols are a staple of the Christmas season. Barlow Bradford (who has composed two new holiday songs for the 2012 concert, "Was Not Christ Our Saviour", and the rollicking "Christmas Carol" set to a poem by 17th-century poet George Withers), the choir, and orchestra will focus on the Burt family tradition of sending Christmas cards that include newly-composed carols by showcasing the music of Alfred Burt and his grand-niece, composer Abbie Betinis. The concert will be Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in Libby Gardner Concert Hall.

The 32-year-old Betinis lives in St. Paul, Minnesota where she is an adjunct professor of composition at Concordia College. Bradford will feature four of her carols.
