Syracuse earned its way to its first-ever 5A championship game on Thursday, notching a surprising 21-16 win over Bingham in the semifinals at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

A lot of Titans can take credit for the win: Quarterback Kole Tracy for stepping in and playing well, the offensive line for keeping him upright, and the defense for recovering four Bingham fumbles.

Receiver Diante Mitchell played a big role, catching a 57-yard touchdown pass to put Syracuse up in the second half. The Titans never lost the lead.

In this video, Mitchell talks about his game, his team's mentality facing adversity and what it means to be headed to the program's first title game.

Keep tuning in.
