Weber State basketball: Wildcats rout Arizona Christian in opener

Weber State started its season off with a resounding victory, beating Arizona Christian 110-52 at the Dee Events Center in Ogden.

The Wildcats were up 32 at halftime and then widened the lead to end up with the second-largest margin of victory in school history.

Weber State's Davion Berry put up a game-high 17 points, and freshman Joel Bolomboy had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

As a whole, the Wildcats shot 64 percent to down the Firestorm, who shot only 26 percent. Weber State also beat Arizona Christian, an NAIA school, on rebounds, with the Wildcats nabbing 50 to the Firestorms' 29.

Weber State also made 13 of 25 3-point attempts in the win.
