This one is a little dated but worth posting. Justin Hart, regional aquatics director in the UDWR's southeastern region sent this photo and story from a pretty successful out on Scofield Reservoir. He expects more big fish to be landed this winter at Scofield. The following is Rob's narrative of the catch: It was 10/14/2012. I was out fishing with my son-in-law Riley Thorpe and his twin 2-year-old boys Ryker and Hunter. We have a cabin in Scofield West. I have been fishing this lake for over 40 years and never caught anything like this, not even close. We were shore fishing on the Mountain View unit at the state park. I caught the tiger first which is 25 1/2 " long and 7 lbs 4 oz bait fishing on bottom ( cheese like substance). My name is Robert Bona and I live in Springville utah. We both have 2 pole permits so we were bait fishing and spin casting. My son in law Riley caught the pig brown spin casting deep with a heavy spinner. He thought he was hung up on the bottom, but all the sudden it came to life. We almost lost it back into the lake because we didn't have a net but I sacrificed a wet boot and crotch took it for a ride to make sure it didn't get away. I am the one on the left in the picture with Hunter, and Riley is on the right with Ryker. Thanks Rob Bona
