Murray's insult

Coal magnate Robert Murray's anti-American diatribe addressed to the Lord and disguised as a prayer is an insult to anything that might be called holy ("Bob Murray lays off 102 Utah miners in response to Obama win," Tribune, Nov. 10).
Using the outcome of the election as an excuse for his failing business practices is an insult to any thinking person. Asking for forgiveness (while laying blame at the president's feet) for his own inability to stay competitive is nothing more than a self-serving piety that makes a mockery of any faith he professes to have.
Murray's "prayer" and his predictions about America's future say little about reality, but they speak volumes about the man's true character.
