The father of two boys enrolled in the MusicGarage.org rock band program, MusicGarage-Kids!, has seeded a one-year scholarship fund and wants individuals and businesses to join him to promote the MusicGarage.Org youth program.Jeffrey Zitting, the father of Ben, 12 and Cameron, 14, who are enrolled in the MusicGarage.Org rock band program, said he has seen his sons grow musically, socially and academically since starting with the after-school program.

Inspired by this progress, Mr. Zitting posted that his company (Primary Residential Mortgage) donated a one-year scholarship on his Facebook page which post-produced applications, essays and auditions immediately. MusicGarage.org encourages intermediate-to-advanced rock musicians under 18 to apply and audition before Christmas.

Jeff Zitting commented in a press release, "I invite individuals and businesses to sponsor a young musician by donating to the Utah Arts Alliance and putting MusicGarage.Org Scholarship in the memo line."Thanks to a fiscal sponsorship by the non-profit Utah Arts Alliance, donors can take the tax-deduction for the 2012 fiscal year.
