Lots of music at grand opening for Outlets at Traverse Mountain (in Lehi)

Outlets at Traverse Mountain (in Lehi) will have its grand opening this weekend, and it has a full slate of music and other events to mark the opening. Here is an excerpt from the schedule, with info procided by Traverse:

Thursday, November 15 5 p.m. "Sneak Peek" Preview Night – Shops open until 9 p.m.For admission, bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Utah Food Bank and receive a raffle ticket to win prizes and store gift cards. Preferred food items include peanut butter, tuna fish, canned fruit (low sugar), canned vegetables (low sodium), canned stews and chili, boxed meals, macaroni and cheese and pasta. Please: no glass bottles. 5 p.m. Caleb Blood – Performs until 6 p.m.Caleb's smooth vocals comfortably accompany his piano and guitar playing within his story-based songwriting. With an ability to mix his singer-songwriter style with pop and rock, he's been described as what Justin Timberlake or Michael Buble would sound as singer/songwriters. 6 p.m. Amy Whitcomb – Performs until 8 p.m.A graduate from Brigham Young University with a Major in Media Music, Whitcomb has performed on national television, at major venues throughout the U.S., and in Asia and Europe. She performs as a solo artist and with her a cappella group Delilah. Friday, November 16 10:30 a.m. Flying Aces (will also perform at 1 and 3 p.m.)Winter and Summer Olympians, World Champions, and top-ranked acrobatic athletes perform skills on a trampoline that have earned them positions at the top of their sports. 6:30 p.m. Eclipse – Performs until 8 p.m.All originally from northern Utah, Eclipse uses just one instrument—the human mouth. Since 1999, they have released seven albums and have performed for audiences throughout the world. Eclipse has been named "Best Vocal Group" at Utah's Best of State Awards and they are the recipients of four Pearl Awards, including "Group Recording Artist of the Year." 7 p.m. Tree Lighting 7 p.m. Fireworks Saturday, November 17

4 p.m. Lone Peak High School Choir – Performs until 4:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m. Conn Curran & Rob Bennion – Performs until 6 p.m.Conn Curran and the Rob Bennion Band were named Best Jazz/Blues band in Utah by The Daily Herald. Together they have entertained crowds from Salt Lake's own Grand America Hotel to headlining the Okayama Jazz Festival in Japan.
